The Squeezebox Shootout is open to Cajun (single-row diatonic) accordion players of all ages.  There is no registration fee for the 2010 event, but you must PRE-REGISTER in order to compete.

There are several ways to register: 1) fill out the automated form at www.jeffdavis.org & email it to polly@cityofjennings.com, 2) fill out the form below and mail it to Jennings Festival Assn., P.O. Box 1431, Jennings, LA 70546 3) print out the form, fill it out & fax it to (337) 821-5545 or visit the W.H. Tupper Museum located at 311 N. Main St., Jennings and fill out a form.  Should you have any questions call (337) 821-5532 or email:  polly@cityofjennings.com.

There are three divisions: (circle the one that applies to you)

• Youth Division: Age 13 and under, on or before Feb. 13, 2010
• Junior Division: Age 14-20, on or before Feb. 13, 2010
• Adult Division: Age 21 and older, on or before Feb. 13, 2010

The deadline to register is Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.

Be prepared to provide a few words about yourself on stage.  Example: How long have you been playing? How did you learn to play an accordion?  Do you, or have you ever, played with a live band?  Recorded any music?
