My friend and I have both been in band since 4th grade on the saxophone. We played this song in 8th grade, I was 1st saxophone and he was 2nd. Last year, when we were freshmen at high school, he tried out soprano saxophone and then tenor, and is now on tenor. However, our band director has mentioned that there is a spot in the Wind Ensemble for an Alto Clarinet. Being the only two people trying out, we decided to do the same solo part. I photocopied my part for this song to give to him.
